The matcha was horrible here, the initial drink they gave me and it tasted way too sweet that I could not taste the matcha at all and nothing like the picture they promote on their social media. I like trying different places for their matcha but this one really missed the mark and their customer service was horrible. I kindly asked if they could remake my drink because it was too sweet and she rudely said “matcha einspanner are supposed to be sweet”, completely ignoring my request. I asked for a refund then and then she said “we’ll just remake it”. I gave her the drink because I was just going to throw it away and if I’m paying already $7-8 for it, I want it to be to my liking. The remake wasn’t any better so this will be my last time coming here, especially when there are much better places in the South Bay and with better customer service.

Cute, clean, and surprisingly cozy for such a small spot. I didn’t expect indoor seating, but there’s just enough space to grab a seat, catch up with friends, or park yourself with a laptop for a bit. What originally pulled me in were their drink photos, whoever is behind those deserves credit because they look fantastic. The menu has a nice variety: smoothies, matcha, fruit teas, and more. I was tempted by the matcha but ended up going with the lychee jasmine tea. I ordered regular sugar and, for the first time in a while, I actually thought a drink might be too sweet, maybe my sweet tooth is mellowing with age. Still, it was refreshing and delicious, and I loved getting bits of lychee with every sip. The best surprise? Near the end I realized they use whole lychee fruit, not just the usual small pieces. That little discovery genuinely made my day. Service was quick and friendly. I’d happily come back, especially to give that matcha a try.

Otto is taking tea shops to another level with so many delicious options, fruits, flavors and foams. The blueberry spirulina latte with banana foam is a revelation. The milk teas here are the BEST.. real fruits and real milk taste of freshness and quality. Beyond the standard offerings the specialties really set otto apart from any other spots in the area.. their foams are incredible with plenty of options to compliment all the teas. They have good matcha which you can have a number of ways. The location is in with Whole Foods on the north side of the shopping center. From simple to fabulous otto does tea right.

Had two excellent iced matcha lattes with banana cold foam and oat milk. This is one of the only places that truly understood the assignment when we requested “no additional sweetener”. The banana cold foam was the perfect amount of sweet. The matcha was full bodied. This was fully fantastic. No notes. I will definitely be back soon and highly recommend !!

Otto Tea Shoppe is a new boba spot that opened a few months ago, and I finally had the chance to try it. It's always nice to see more boba places popping up in the area! I have pretty high standards when it comes to drinks — I’m the type who’s willing to drive out to the San Gabriel Valley just for a really good boba or milk tea. The staff at Otto are super friendly and welcoming, but the shop itself is pretty small with limited seating. I usually go for a Strawberry Matcha Latte with no added sugar, and unfortunately, Otto's version was one of the worst I’ve had. The matcha flavor was bland and not strong enough, and they didn’t use fresh strawberries. The balance between matcha, milk, and strawberry just felt off. If you look at the photo of the drink, the ratio of my drink was something like: matcha 2/10, strawberry 1/10, and milk 7/10. It ended up tasting more like milk with a hint of flavor. That said, I also tried their Lime Burst, which was tasty and refreshing — definitely a better experience. I’m still open to giving them another try with a different drink next time (just not the Strawberry Matcha Latte). Quick tips: Otto Tea Shoppe is located next to Michaels and Whole
